Overview
Market Lane is a bustling two-floor restaurant and bar set inside a handsome old pub building on Oliver Plunkett Street, in the heart of Cork city centre.
Established in 2007 and now employing around 83 staff, it is part of the Market Lane Group, one of the most respected independent restaurant groups in Cork. The atmosphere is warm, buzzy and quality-casual: exposed brick, wooden floors, and a lively hum of conversation that makes it equally suited to a quick lunch, a long dinner, or a catch-up over drinks.
The kitchen leans on fish, salads, meats and game, with a menu that changes seasonally to reflect what’s fresh at the English Market next door.
